An Ever-Evolving Aesthetic

On the occasion of Milano Design Week 2025, Lea Ceramiche stood out as one of the key players in the dOT – design Outdoor Texture exhibition path, in the heart of the Brera Design District. With an integrated and widespread presence, the brand not only took center stage but also enhanced spaces and collaborations through the expressive language of its ceramic surfaces.

Hosted in the Chiostro Piccolo di San Marco, the installation Connection Matters – The Layers of Creativity offered a free and joyful interpretation of architectural design, encouraging the mix & match of textures, effects, and materials.

Conceived as an open-air creative lab, the installation invited visitors to explore unexpected combinations, discover the expressive power of juxtaposition, and reflect on the idea of physical and visual layering as a contemporary design language. The fluid composition of ceramic arches, multilevel surfaces, and dynamic lighting created an immersive system where every detail emphasized nuance, depth, technology, and connection. A visual ecosystem in constant evolution, narrating the versatility of Lea materials and their active role in the construction of architectural storytelling.

Between the refined marble brilliance of Noblesse and the chromatic and textural strength of Pigmenti by Ferruccio Laviani, Connection Matters emerged as a manifesto of creative freedom, showing how ceramics can generate open dialogues between aesthetics, function, and experimentation.

A Dialogue Between Materials and Architecture

Also within the Chiostro Piccolo, the Intense collection by Lea Ceramiche was selected as the surface for Cohabitare, the installation designed by Formafantasma for Perrier-Jouët, a reflection on the coexistence between nature and human intervention.
The warm, richly textured surfaces defined the space with elegance and restraint, creating an immersive and intimate atmosphere.

A synergy of different design languages, showcasing ceramic as a narrative surface and a true identity tool in architectural expression.

An Immersive Experience of Creativity

In the Chiostro Grande di San Marco, Lea Ceramiche further extended its presence by providing all outdoor floorings of the dOT path with 20 mm thick porcelain stoneware, ensuring resistance, aesthetic continuity, and project coherence.
The collections Waterfall, Masterpiece and Intense alternated in a detailed layout of paths, rest areas, and display settings, offering visitors a seamless journey through texture, function, and landscape.

A tangible demonstration of how Lea Ceramiche’s performing design can shape complex environments, delivering surfaces that combine technical precision, flawless aesthetics, and experiential value
